Ghost Push - Trojan Virus Can Kills Android Device

Ghost Push, A New Kind Of Trojan Virus That Will Seriously Damage Your Android Device

When we heard about viruses that might infect our devices, we don't get bothered so much because after all there's so many free anti-virus applications out there, right?

But this new kind of Trojan Virus that recently affects Android devices is seriously requiring much of your attention. Why? Because top rated anti-virus applications and hard reset cannot remove it from your device and it won't stop until your device is broken.

October 12, 2015 - Cheetah Mobile Research Lab announced a warning to Android users against the outbreak of this new Trojan Virus called "Ghost Push".

How would you know if your Android device is infected with this virus?

The Symptoms:

Your device turns on Wi-Fi, connects to the Internet then downloads and installs bunch of applications endlessly until your device runs out of memory space.

You cannot uninstall these downloaded applications.

And if you were able to uninstall these apps, after restarting your device, all of those apps are back again in your device.

Factory reset, soft/hard rest may erase these applications but it is only temporary because once your device reboots, these applications installed by the virus are all back again and may even double their number if you still have available space in your device’s memory.

Your device downloads pornographic videos and at times it directly plays the video with full volume. You can’t stop the video from playing nor lower the volume because screen and volume keys seems unresponsive and may force you to pull out your device battery just to shut it down.

It is hard to detect at first which application is infected with Ghost Push Virus because it copies popular legit apps that we download even in Google Play Store.

It only take one infected application installed in your device and their party begins. That one infected application installed in your device will download more applications that are infected with different kinds of viruses.

Since your phone is like navigated by a ghost, from turning on your Wi-Fi to connecting to the Internet and from downloading various applications to installing it to your device, you will then wonder why your device prompts for system memory low. Or on morning when you wake up and check on your devices, you'll be surprise where these newly installed apps came from and who installed it.

And before you realize it, it has already infected your clean apps as well as your system applications like your contacts, messaging, settings, dialer, email, camera, etc.

That explains why even you format or hard reset your device, the virus remains because your system applications are infected. It is also the reason why anti-virus applications can only detect the virus but cannot remove, delete, or uninstall the infected app.
